Maple Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts wrapped in crispy Turkey bacon and glazed with maple syrup for the perfect sweet and savory appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Brussels sprouts small to medium-sized
  • 12 slices of thin-cut Turkey bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: cayenne pepper or chili flakes for spice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any discolored outer leaves.
  • Wrap each Brussels sprout with a slice of Turkey bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  • Arrange the wrapped sprouts on the baking sheet. Brush each one generously with maple syrup and sprinkle with black pepper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the Turkey bacon is crispy and the sprouts are tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan after baking.
Adjust the sweetness by mixing a little Dijon mustard into the maple syrup before brushing.
