Maple Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts wrapped in crispy Turkey bacon and glazed with maple syrup for the perfect sweet and savory appetizer.
- 12 Brussels sprouts small to medium-sized
- 12 slices of thin-cut Turkey bacon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: cayenne pepper or chili flakes for spice
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any discolored outer leaves.
Wrap each Brussels sprout with a slice of Turkey bacon, securing with a toothpick.
Arrange the wrapped sprouts on the baking sheet. Brush each one generously with maple syrup and sprinkle with black pepper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the Turkey bacon is crispy and the sprouts are tender.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan after baking.
Adjust the sweetness by mixing a little Dijon mustard into the maple syrup before brushing.
