- 2 cans 20 oz each pineapple chunks or tidbits, drained
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 sleeve about 1 cup buttery crackers, crushed (e.g., Ritz)
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine drained pineapple, sugar, and flour. Spread evenly into the prepared dish.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the pineapple mixture.
In a separate bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter. Spread this mixture over the cheese layer.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
