Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water milk, or a mix of both
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1 cup fresh fruit berries, sliced bananas, or chopped mango
  • 1/4 cup nuts or seeds optional
  • Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg optional

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a gentle boil. Stir in the oats and salt.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until creamy.
  • Sweeten with honey or maple syrup, if desired.
  • Spoon oatmeal into bowls and top with fresh fruit. Add nuts, seeds, or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
