Indian Masala Omelette

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato finely chopped
  • 1 green chili finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder adjust to taste
  • A pinch of garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter

Instructions
 

  • Crack the eggs into a large mixing bowl and whisk them until frothy.
  • Add the chopped onion, tomato, green chili, and cilantro to the eggs.
  • Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir well.
  • Heat oil or butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Cook on low-medium heat until the edges set and the top begins to cook.
  • Carefully flip the omelette and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve hot with your favorite sides.
