- 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lemon juice and zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Remove shrimp, add more butter, lemon juice, and zest to the pan.
Return shrimp to the skillet, toss in the sauce, and garnish with parsley.
