- 1 frozen banana peeled and sliced before freezing
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk canned or carton
- 1/2 cup almond milk or any milk of choice
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut unsweetened or sweetened
- 1 tbsp chopped pecans plus extra for topping
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup ice cubes optional, for extra thickness
Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients
Peel and slice a ripe banana, then freeze it ahead of time.
Measure out all the other ingredients: coconut milk, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, shredded coconut, chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and ice cubes.
Step 2: Blend It Up
Add the frozen banana slices, coconut milk, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, shredded coconut, chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and ice cubes to a high-speed blender.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more almond milk. If it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes.
Step 3: Serve and Enjoy
Pour the smoothie into a glass.
Top with a sprinkle of shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and a drizzle of melted chocolate or cocoa powder for an extra indulgent touch.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
