Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta fettuccine, spaghetti, or penne
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  • Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
