Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 chocolate bar about 3.5 oz, chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar optional, adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk and cream over low heat until warm (do not boil).
  • Add the chopped chocolate bar and whisk constantly until fully melted and smooth.
  • Taste and add sugar if needed, whisking to dissolve.
  • Stir in vanilla extract (if using).
  • Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, marshmallows, or your favorite toppings.
